Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) Rockford Office Moves to New Downtown Location

The Rockford office of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) has relocated to 308 West State Street, Suite 250 (Stewart Square Building), Rockford, IL 61101. The office will be closed on August 14, 15, and 16 as staff physically move from the previous location to the new site. Programs and services will re-open at the new location on Monday, August 19, 2019.

The new offices and physical space in the Stewart Square Building are more conducive to the children and families served by LSSI in Rockford, which includes foster care, therapeutic foster care, and Intact Family Services.

"Keeping the office in downtown Rockford enables the children and families we serve full access to the primary hub of Rockford's public transportation and keeps our office walking distance from the courts and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services office," said David Hicks, Program Director. "The new space also offers the clients we serve more comfortable and spacious rooms for sibling and family visits. With a food court in the building's lower level, large meeting rooms, and many other amenities in and around our new office space, our clients, staff, and visitors will be well-served."

LSSI's Rockford office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will maintain the same phone and fax numbers: office (815) 969.8836; FAX (815) 969-8871
