Associate Board
Making a Meaningful Difference in the Lives of Others
LSSI’s Associate Board comprises an enthusiastic group of people who are connected to LSSI’s mission and dedicated to promoting and furthering the work that LSSI does. Associate Board members are responsible for spreading the word about LSSI to their networks, helping to plan fundraising, and/or donating to LSSI.
Requirements:
- Fundraise or donate through personal contributions, company match or sponsorships, ticket sales to events, in-kind donations, peer-to-peer fundraising, or another form of fundraising
- Raise awareness of LSSI and its programs within your personal and professional networks
- Actively participate in the planning and promotion of at least one LSSI event. This requirement may be fulfilled by serving on a committee or volunteering (opportunities will be provided) for one of the following LSSI events:
- Compassion on Tap
- True Friend
- Another approved event benefiting LSSI and organized by you or a fellow member
- Attend quarterly Associate Board meetings and committee meetings as needed
- Commit to two years of service
